Emil couldn’t
believe how calmly Tangen was taking the fact that an unknown ship was heading
straight for them. He was literally nearly peeing himself in fright. The only
thing that gave away that Tangen was worried was Emil could see the veins in
his neck standing out with the force of his clenched jaw.
Pressing on the
intercom button he spoke. “Blayze we have an unknown heading our way. I think
you should come to the control deck.” Emil reached out and placed his hand over
and placed it on Tangen’s. Tangen patted it in comfort. “Don’t worry Emilian,
our ship is cloaked they won’t even know we are here.”
But worry Emil
did. Even though he knew deep down that he probably should know all this, yet
he still spun out because without his full memory everything was so
overwhelming and so frightening.
“Nathan, do we
know what sort of ship she is or what race she belongs to?” Blayze asked as he
walked into the room followed closely by Jettermane.
Emil watch as Jettermane
walked past the talking men and placed his hand on the view screen and brought
it to life. “What’s he doing?” someone asked. Emil didn’t look to see who had
spoken. He was too fascinated by what Jettermane was doing without ever once
touching a control.
The screen
displayed what he assumed was the other spaceship and being that were so
beautiful it hurt his eyes to look at them. Glancing around at the others in
the room he saw the same looks on all their faces and especially Geven’s he
looked almost transfixed by what he was seeing.
“I think you
have something that belongs to me.” Jettermane spoke, “Well not me technically,
but you have something, or rather someone, who belongs to my world.”
The other being
frowned and anger was evident in his eyes. “I will not allow him to be treated
like he was. Why should I return him when he was clearly in such distress?”
Jettermane leaned
toward the screen. “I was un aware of his treatment I have been away and am
just now returning home. I have his mates with me. Ask Arie if he wishes to be
returned to his mates? Ask him if he still wishes to be part of the triad with Tangen
and Emilian? I will abide by his wishes, whatever he chooses.”
Emil’s hand tightened
on Tangen’s as he felt his mate tense under his touch… Tangen’s words did
nothing to soothe him “It’s alright Buska, Arie will not deny us.”
Yet strangely
there was a tension in his stomach that said whatever Arie had been through
might just make him leery of coming back to them. He hoped it wasn’t true, but
some small part of him worried.
The main being
whispered to someone outside their field of vision, before turning back to
frown at them all once more.
**~*~**
Arie worried
that he was never going to see his beloved mates again. The Clandyke Coven had
not treated him well he had been soiled and used as a fuck toy for whoever
wanted him as long as it was done in front of the whole clan. And he had been
used over and over just to make sure he realised he had no say over who he was
anymore. He hated them all and had tried on numerous times to end it before his
lovers, his mate, his husbands found out what had been done to him.
And now sadly
he had been sold to a race of beings he had never knew even existed before. So
far they were being kind and gentle with him, but Arie had to wonder how long
the reprieve would last before they also took what they wanted.
His life wasn’t
meant to be this way.
It wasn’t.
The door to his
new prison open up to a soft hiss of air. Alexi the second in charge walked in
and knelt before him. “Little one, there is a man who is claiming that he owns
you. He asked that you be told that he is on board another vessel with some
people he claims are your mates. He asks whether or not you wish to speak with
Tangen and Emilian – do you know these people?”
Arie’s heart
lurched. His body trembled as stood and headed to the door.
“Little one?”
Alexi had risen and placed a hand gently on his shoulder. “If these men truly
are you mates, would you ask them to help us before we perish from our eternal
drifting? Your planet was meant to save us and yet we found it corrupted by
evil spawn.”
“Not all my
people are evil, just the one vampiric sect you happened to come across first.
The rest of us are normal and well-adjusted, and if you had have met with our
king and Xerx you would know that.” Tears spilled down his face. “Please I need
to see if my husbands still want me.”
Steeling himself
for the worst Arie made his way to the control room. He had been on board the ‘Faeoline’ for more than a month and had
no trouble navigating the ship. His breath held as he walked across the room to
stand beside Raineo. Prince, and heir apparent of the Faeo System. Turning to
face the screen he couldn’t see through the tears that flooded his eyes.
“My Loves, Do
you still want me?”
**~*~**
Tangen burst
out of the chair and ran toward the screen. It really was Arie… his heart all but
stopped at the tears on his mate’s face. “Of course I still want you? You
belong to me? You belong to Buska?”
“What about
you, Emilian?” Arie asked hollowly.
Tangen watched
as so many emotions ran across his mates face before he finally spoke. “I’m
sorry, I don’t remember you. Though, my heart tells me you are mine, my brain
and memory can’t say the same. Though I do want you – my heart knows it will
always want you.”
“Alright then,”
a calm voice said from behind them and Tangen knew what was about to happen. “De-cloak
and prepare for boarding, we have a family member to reclaim.”
Tangen watched
in disbelief as Jettermane chuckled beside Blayze. “Oh my love, we have more
than just one family member to claim.”
